They should add E.T. to this – Atari's Greatest Hits Review

just for the curiosity value. They’d have to change the name to Atari’s Greatest Hits and Biggest Bomb. I bought this when it came out, along with an iCade controller. The iCade controller didn’t handle very well, so I gave it away. A shame, since I like to play Adventure every once in awhile, and the on-screen controls are pretty bad (as of 2017). As others have mentioned, MFi controller support would be great. I guess that it would be too hard for them to support it. I recently gave Tempest a try on my iPhone 7+. It’s awesome! Probably the best controller implementation since the arcade. I’m also enjoying the trackball games (Missile Command, Centipede, Millipede and Crystal Castles). I’ve NEVER enjoyed them on any other platform (since the arcade) but on an iPad Pro they come back to life. The iPad Pro was made for trackball game emulation. I’ve never wished for Marble Madness, knowing that the controls would be bad - but maybe now is the time for it. But the lack of MFi controller support is a glaring omission for games like Black Widow and Space Duel, which had dual stick controls in the arcade. I have to give Atari props on continuing to support this game. I was surprised that it survived the 32 bit apocalypse. I hope the give it a little move love in the future with MFi controller support, along with the addition of more games.
