App starts and immediately disappears – PhotoJus Space FX Review

I have an iPhone 8+ running the current OS, and the app starts and disappears. It shows up in the running apps when I double-click the home button, but will not stay active. Can't use any of the Photos apps. They all do this. Anyone else seeing this?
