SPEND $$$ OR DIE!!! – King's Empire (Deluxe) Review

This is a great game and it’s very entertaining. Lots of depth and events to keep you busy. Only downfall (and it’s yuge!) is that you will never survive and grow unless you plan on spending money consistently. The ones that do have an advantage all day and will hunt you down and wipe you out. The rule is that you can’t attack a player who’s score is 5x above or below you, but I quickly found that it still creates for a very uneven match. Unless you plan on spending money, you can’t move your city or speed up recruitment and the same handful of players will continue to wipe out your armies and pillage all of your resources, so this is fare warning. T4P really needs to re-evaluate that rule...
