Doesn't support Visitor Oyster Cards – TfL Oyster and contactless Review

I pre-ordered Visitor Oyster Cards for an upcoming trip to London, then got this app—only to discover it doesn't support Visitor Oyster Cards. (That's my guess of the problem. It complains that my cards are old 1st-generation cards, but some quick research shows they're not.)
