Can’t connect to network – CNET's Tech Today Review

So I’m getting the “are you underwater...” prompt. I have tried 3 different wireless networks now (one with a nice speed of nearly 80 megabits down) and then LTE which gives me the same error. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and rebooted. I’m on the very latest iOS (11.1) and can not get the app to work for some odd reason. iPhone 7 unlocked CDMA 128gb.
