Does not work with Dropbox – Marvin Classic - eBook reader for epub Review

In spite of the claims, I cannot upload ePub books with Dropbox. All I get is a cryptic error message with no hint as to what the problem is. I paid $4 for this app and would like my money back, or I would like the problem with Dropbox to be fixed.
