See Heyhey Hey Fat Albert – Canasta Jogatina: Card Games Review

10/9/2017 I too am seeing these disturbing ads. Only appear when using this application. For the virus notice, only way to get around it is to reboot. ----------- Original post. After more playing I found that a red 3 was dealt to me and stayed in my hand, rather than automatically putting down and dealing a 2nd card. Also, it froze for no reason. Player to my R had me was in the process of laying down. I kept waiting for them to discard (still more cards in hand). I tried clicking on my discard pile or drawing a card and a message popped up saying that I needed to wait for other person to discard. Closing the app and restarting took me back to the same state. Needed to reboot iPad. Jan 4 2016 At times when a person goes out, the summary displays so quickly that you don't get a chance to see the end of the last hand it would be helpful if, after a person goes out there is a 5 second delay so you can view the board. Or make this configurable? I appreciate the need for ads, but the ones that run for 20 seconds or so without giving the user the ability to skip the ad are really obnoxious. Red 3 being dealt to to my hand is still broken. Can we get a fix? Apr 2 The more I play the more I see that my partner is not laying down cards as he should. Examples, if he picks up the discard pile of about 10 cards, he is not laying down what he can. In this situation the opponent goes out, I have 2 or 3 cards in my hand and my opponent has perhaps 15 cards. I lost the game due to points subtracted of my partners hand. It really feels like my partner is doing his own thing and not playing based on the status of the board. Still waiting for fixes that were reported with the Sept 2015 release. ---------- Using July 2016 release. Red 3's are still being dealt into player hand at times. If I have a canasta, sometimes my partner will go out by distributing their wild cards that don't yield a canasta. Ex: I have a canasta of 4's 5 5's and 2 4's. My partner has has 2 wild cards. She goes out by applying the 2 wild cards to the stack of4's. They should be applies to the5's to secure another canasta. ----------/' October 5 2016 red Three still being dealt into the hand. Oct 29 2016 Red 3 still an issue. Sometimes partner misses ability to create a new Canasta by playing wildcard or joker on an existing meld of 5 or fewer cards. Jan 27, 2017 The rules allow you to go out without a discard, which is fine with me. However in some instances the player going out discards a wildcard. In more than one game, the user could have used the last card in her hand (wildcard) to play it and gain another canasta. Too many times a user does not pick up the discard pile when the player before her discarded something of use. Realize that this could be construed as "strategy", however when there is a large number of cards in the discard pile, it doesn't make sense. Version Mar 27, 2017 My partner is making canasta of 8 cards, wasting wild cards. Example 5 naturals already played, partner throws 3 wildcard to make a canasta. One of those wild cards could have been used to make a canasta on 6 cards already played. Would be very helpful at the end of the hand to not display the results so quickly. Often times you can't see the whole last play because it disappears too quickly. Players still going out by wasting a wild card on the discard pile, when a discard isn't required. In more than 1 game a player has gone out by discarding a wildcard, when the could have made a canasta and gone out. Version June 8 Of issues reported previously, only thing that has been fixed is the unnecessary discarding of wildcard on going out. Red 3 still an issue. Canastas of 8 still an issue, when throwing a wildcard to a stack of 6 could have resulted in another canasta. This seems to happen when a player is going out. Example. User has played 6 5s w a wildcard, making a stack of 6. Same player has also a canasta from previous play. On going out, wildcard will be played to the canasta set, vs the stack of 5s, for another canasta. As others have suggested, it would be helpful to add a pause after someone goes out, giving you the chance to see what was dealt. Also, pls add a "Can I go out feature". Finally the release notes ask to provide feedback. It's hard to provide feedback when no info has been given as to what has been fixed. . Functional fixes or enhancements visible to the user should be called out so the user knows. ................ 8/3/17 How long do we have to wait to get bug fixes? Can't we get the problem of a canasta having 8 cards vs 7 cards fixed? If you are going to develop an app and publish it, there should be a commitment on your part to maintain it, and to QA it yourself without throwing it over the wall to see what your users find. Frustrating!
