Some Best Practices on cleaning dupes – Duplicate Photos Fixer Review

Started out using the Mac free version on my photos library to find i kept getting zonked every sync with some dupe bug. Here's what i did:: Run the scan on recommended, magic wand, trash. THEN, go to Photos app on iPad and RESTORE from deleted within 30 days certain types of "photos" like starbucks receipts (too similar looking) or arty things say from photo series or such. Screen shots or Text captures also fall under this. THEN, run the cleaner again to see if these dupe match, and more carefully go through the library. Had 6,000 dupes so it is a little onerous to slog through, though it fixes the chronic sync/dupe "sorcerers apprentice" that kept happening.
