Why the app needs to have satellite location map. – Wally Lite - Personal Finance Review

Why is that app needs location data map. Is this so they can track everything and sell data to nearby stores? Well I guess this is not good. Why do I need to provide location data if I just need to manage my expenses in an app. There is neither any way in setting to disable the location data.
