Can't add friends – WishMindr Wish List & Registry Review

I like the concept, especially for use by my kids to share their wishes with us and their grandparents. But, when I send them an invite, or they try sending one to me, it doesn't add them. It says they will show up in my friend's list when I open them in the app, but they don't show up.
