Addictive gem, but limited lifespan – Card Crawl Review

I don't remember how much I paid for this game, I got it on a whim, but I was hooked for weeks. It isn't deep, but there are very interesting strategic possibilities with custom decks. I wish there was a little more variety, eg I wish different classes and opponents were different in more ways than just art. I really, really wish there was a campaign mode or if it was otherwise turned into an RPG. These don't bother me enough to take away a star; this game is a short, intense gem. Years later, this is still one of my favorite light games with RPG dressing. Other games I like in the same way: Dungeon Raid, 10000000, and Guild of Dungeoneering.
