Surprisingly robust; some glitches – BatchResizer2 - Quickly Resize Multiple Photos Review
My go to batch image processor (One Edit Pro...been using it for years) has been going through some "development hiccups" and left me w/o an image batcher.
Long story short: I batch convert dozens of times/day in my workflow.
Batch Resizer's (ultra amateur/total turn-off) icon nearly kept me from getting it. But I was happily shocked. Why?
It does things NO other iOS app I have or have seen does.
Two iMMENSELY cool, useful examples:
1.) when jpegging a .PNG there's *actually* a preference option to pass along the PNG's metadata to the JPG. (I've never had that on my Mac or in 24 years of Photoshop. Holy $h17 ! ??
2.) the preview/selection gallery can be set to show file size...AND an icon for file format! Oh, yeah!
3.) pref for keeping selection (or not) and keeping/deleting originals.
4. Easy to set up & recall one's own presets.
The (minor) CONS:
It has a couple of glitches:
* sometimes it skips selected files or throws an error saying an image couldn't be processed.
* after minimizing and recalling, it's almost always frozen. Fully close/open again and it's fine.
This app is quite full-featured and 90% pro. Recommended to anyone.
