The game is dying – Heroes of Skyrealm Review

They pull you in with a super flashy start and all the premium currency you could want. But they gave up on the story around chapter 9 and make you hit a progression wall around level 50. The concept is great and I admit to spending a bit of money here and there. But with most any games the grind becomes real and the progression slow. Resources for upgrading become ever more scarce after level 30 and all upgrades to your hero jump up substantially. I would accept this if they didn't have the system set where you have to wait for energy or buy it to complete so much. The graphics are amazing and the music is very well composed. Art work and other little details are all very wonderful. It truly is a fun game just don't be fooled by all the shine at the start, it's a facade and some major system components need tweaking. Their random system for rewards in this new affinity thing is rigged as I'm sure most of their mini games are. I've personally taken the time to calculate how many premium loot pulls for the affinity flip. Out of 100 times the first flip was 8/10 times x2 or x3 draw on the next flip. The first flip is free, any flips after cost premium currency and you will spend it all in one go. Overall and besides a few salty complaints and minor bugs the game is good. I enjoy it and I want to stick with it to see where it goes but I'm really running out of interest more and more. I really hope they consider those who have spoken out about flaws and system improvements and change the course of the game so they keep the player base strong and can create new servers to increase the performance of the game.
