Fun game, BUT... – Ruzzle Adventure Review

First of all, Ruzzle Adventure is pretty fun and very addictive. But if you download it and start to play it, ask yourself how much you'd pay for the game if you were buying it. Five bucks? Ten? See, this game is based on the same principle as Candy Crush. You're given a few lives to delete the levels you can, and one you use those lives up, you're given a timer of varying lengths of time, like 12 minutes for example, before you can continue. That doesn't sound like a long time, but you can go through those lives quickly if you get stuck on a level. OR...you can make in-app purchases to buy more lives instantly. You can also buy upgrades to help you defeat levels. The upgrades start around $1.99 and go up from there. You may start this game intending to never make in-app purchases, but I promise you, it gets very tempting to hit that BUY button. And these can add up VERY quickly if you're not careful. So before you download this app, read the stories online of people who spent two or three hundred dollars in Candy Crush before they'd even realized it. Then ask yourself again, is this game worth it? You could also play a game like the original Ruzzle, which I've literally been playing for years for one payment of $1.99. It's your call. Oh, by the way...level 179? Totally beatable.
