Good, but flawed – Boiler Room Review

The new layout is confusing and cluttered. The player is still buggy. Sometimes audio and video playback works fine, other times only the video or only the audio works. It doesn't always remember your position in the set when switching from audio to video or vice versa. Downloads are hit or miss, some supposedly download but then never play. Having all the downloads disappear when updating is annoying. When things work, this app is really good. The amount of content is great! Unfortunately, things don't work well very often, especially after this latest update. Edit: the previous version of the app still works great on my other phone. Update to the latest version at your own risk. In response to the developers comments: it's not that it was taking a little bit of time for the downloads to start/complete, but that it "downloads" instantly and says it's downloaded, but there is no actual audio file. **This appears to have been fixed now. I do have to re-download the ones that didn't work before, but I'm glad it's fixed. Having audio versions back (instead of just video) means background playback is working again. I have increased my rating. The app is still a very laggy and slow at times, even on fast wifi.
