Not good – Bird Id USA backyard birds Review

This app has a terrible user experience with lots of tabs and unclear navigation. I kept hitting search, but turns out that's only if you already know the bird's name. You have to hit identification. There are a ton of selections for bird features which is nice but cumbersome Then when you hit search (which took a few tries cause i couldn't locate it- hint- it's in the top right and it's a check mark), it shows you birds from everywhere in America, not where you are. I live in LA, and my top match was from Maryland. My actual match was the 3rd one down, after 2 not from my region. The back button brings you to bird families, not back to your search. And you lose what you have previously selected and searched for. Really annoying. When when I did find it, the detail page was missing information I wanted, and there was no way to save it to my sightings.
