FUN ARCADE HIGH SCORE CHASER! – HYPER BEAM - Twin-Stick Arcade Review

Really fun arcade survival game where your weapons are your thumbs! Hyper Beam is played in landscape mode with your thumbs acting as 'ships' connected by a deadly beam that you use to destroy alien ships. As you rack up kills your hyper meter fills up. Once full, you can activate Hyper Mode by double tapping, which gives you a really powerful beam to get you out of tough spots. The enemy ship variety is pretty immense, and each enemy has its own unique behavior and weapon. There is a strategy to taking out all the different types as well. There are several in-game statistics which is cool, as well as Game Center leaderboards to dominate. You can also unlock new color schemes & beam weapons. Great pay model too: make it fully premium for $2.99 or watch an ad after 5 games. Highly recommended for hardcore arcade gamers!
