Thoroughly enjoyed – République Review

I play a lot of games and rarely leave feedback but felt compelled to do so here because of some other less favorable reviews. Stealth games are my favorite and I really enjoyed this game. The music for the opening menu and the storyline quickly sucked me in. As with most stealth games, there is a certain amount of repetition but that is how you figure out some things in the game. I admit I didn't realize I was purchasing only a portion of the game for $4.99. Had I realized this I'd probably have passed on it - I use my iPad for many things and I like to play my games to exhaustion and then delete them so I would have preferred the entire game (hence my 4-star rating) but in saying that, I'm very happy I got it. I REALLY enjoyed this game and genuinely want to know how the story continues. If I rationalize the cost, I would love to pay $20 for an entire game like this for the Xbox or Playstation and I'd be ecstatic that I found a game this good for only $20! All in all a very enjoyable game. I look forward to the future episodes. Well done Camouflaj. Update 10/15/15: Although I stand by my original review, I have to say I'm disappointed that I paid outright for the full game and the last episode (#4) is STILL not out. This is ridiculous! I don't even play the game because it uses so much space on my iPad that if I want to play other games I have to remove it, because keeping the game on there until the last episode to be released is like keeping the game on there until hell freezes over. Update 5/19/17: Any positive reviews I left for this gave are have been spoiled. I purchased this game - with the season pass- when it first came out almost 3(?) years ago. The episodes took too long to come out. Season pass. Since the company did not adhere to a timely release date. It made the game in compatible with my iPad, which was NEW when I purchased the season pass but now it will no longer run, it crashes. I will never buy another Camouflaj game, nor will I ever purchase games with season passes...
