Free version is better – Pocket Tanks Review

There's no pricing information visible in the app, and the purchase confirmation does not display the price either. Is this allowed per Apple's rules? The free version of this game was fun despite simple graphics and a huge lack of information on what exactly each weapon does. However, I immediately regrettedpaying for the deluxe version. The weapons are now wayyyy off balance. In the free weapon packs, there's a pretty goodbalance between "burying" weapons (they bury your enemy) and "digging" weapons (to dig yourself out). With the weapons addedin the deluxe version, there are now several more burying weapons and no additional digging weapons. So whoever happens to get the best burying wespon innevitably wins the match, because the opponent has to use damaging weapons to dig himself out (often only to be buried again). You can customize which weapons are available, but only individually, not by packs. So now my friend and I have to communicate which ones to disable to keep the matches fair. This means playing against random online oponents isnt fun any more, since this brings the extra overpowered burying weapons back into the mix. This is a fun game, but the vast majority of these weapons are extremely frustrating to use. There's no way to know what it does until you fire it, and I have better things to do with my time than spend all day in the target practice mode to find out. Some kind of altered crosshair or aiming system for weapons that travel in a linear trajectory would be nice, or some indicator for the weapons that detonate early as opposed to detonating upon contact. Fun, but frustrating, unintuitive, and outdated.
