I'm really disappointed – Lost Portal CCG Review

I bought this on a whim with no expectations other than it potentially being similar to magic. An extremely saturated area for ccgs but I like single player card games so I thought it would be worth a shot. Unfortunately, it was a massive turn off throughout the whole game with text tutorials and nonsense interfaces. The art is generic and has no personality, as every character hardly represent what they could be. The portrait you pick could be an enemy portrait which is just the opposite of what a player wants. As a card game it does nothing new and doesn't even do the similar parts well. The lanes are completely underutilized and the cards unexciting. There's no interesting synergy cards or combos. I played this for two dungeons which was maybe about 3 hours on off. After I got to the third I got beat with stronger cards and nothing had improved. No feeling of progression. If you want a mechanically strong game go get Dream Quest. If you want a fun game go play Card City Nights.
