Yesssss, finally!!! – Pic Stitcher Review
I've honestly downloaded/purchased 10+ screenshot merging apps over this past year and all of them have failed in one way or another, but not Pic Stitcher. It combines the best features from all the other leaders, such as auto or manual selection, auto overlapping and stitching, removing persistent elements such as nav bars, etc… It provides fail safes too, just in case it couldn't quite align your screenshot due to improper overlap. It's almost always perfect, but when it's not, it isn't a disaster (like in too many other apps), with Pic Stitcher it's only a SMALL and SIMPLE tweak in edit mode. Seriously, this app is sooooo good! Here are a few updates that I'd really love to see in the near future: [1] iPad optimized layout, even though it functions on iPad it's a bummer we have to tolerate the 2x iPhone version. [2] Remove that pesky (AD) button in the top-right corner of the home screen after paying to remove ads. We pay to get rid of them for a reason ;). Too often I accidentally click it when trying to tap the settings icon — not cool. [3] An option to stack images into a horizontal grid of screenshots, instead of always merging into a long vertical scroll. A super handy feature to have when showing people/clients a series of different options for comparison. This is a feature one of you competitors, LongScreen, provides. [CONCLUSION] Shoppers, stop hunting for the perfect screenshot merging app and believe me (I wasted too much time and money on this topic) this is without question the best app for the task that is currently out there. There's room for improvement, but the foundation is phenomenal.
