Fun game but terribly balanced – Tavern Guardians Review

Basic gameplay is pretty fun but the balance changes and difficulty escalation mechanics are incredibly odd. For example, in the recent patch - a character's damage skills were halved in terms of damage, number of targets hit and the cool down was dramatically increased... All without touching what made the character boring to play which was her permanent CC effects. So all the levels simply take twice as long without being any more threatening. Changes like these make me wonder about the long term maintenance of the game as it seems like they don't have a clear vision for what good is for them.
