Great developer, terrible game. – Escape Games Blythe Castle - Point & Click Mystery Review

On the one hand, straight up puzzles, no hidden objects. On the other hand, no map, completely linear movement and self-contained rooms. Also, precious little plot. Really a disappointment from this developer. Some of the puzzles are good, some are lame, some don't work because of the controls (vault puzzle in the casino room, I'm looking at you.) By far the oddest feature of the app is the abrupt close of any solved puzzle- you finish a puzzle and it instantly vanishes, which isn't good gameplay. Most games allow you to step back and leave the room of your own volition. It's as if they never played a traditional point and click, which is bewildering since they've BUILT other ones. This one should have been held in beta longer and some UX research done.
