It's a Shame b/c I Really Used to Enjoy This App – Appy Geek – tech news Review

I used to use this app on a daily basis for catching up on tech news. Fast forward a year or two, and I have found that not only has the quality gone down (big time) in terms of the content providers availble, but I no longer have the option to open a piece of news in an external browser / am forced to use the very mediocre in-app browser when I click on "Read on Web". With Apple themselves offering a far superior experience in their own News app (due in large part to superior content providers, few ads, and the ability to open stuff in Safari if I prefer), I can't really see myself keeping this Appy Geek on my phone despite having ample storage space. The only reason I am giving it two stars (instead of one) is because I know the devs have worked hard on the app and work to continuously update the app (which I think they still deserve credit for even if I do not like those updates / no longer enjoy their app).
