Addictive math game – Smart Numbers Review

This is an easy to learn, but challenging to beat game that requires you to strategically plan out number combinations (adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing) before you run out of moves or time. In each of the 150 levels (+30 bonus levels), you are given a goal and a limited number of moves or swipes. In a handful of levels, you are given a time limit instead. You will be given a grade ranging from A+ to C- for each level completed, and you need to get an A+ on 5 sequential levels in order to unlock bonus levels. As you progress through the levels, you will play quick but useful tutorials to help you learn new techniques. You also will earn various titles and ranks, which are amusing and comical. Aside from the regular levels, there are also free coin challenges with 3 difficulty levels. The higher the difficulty, the more coins you can earn. These challenge levels are playable every 30 minutes (easy level), 4 hours (medium), or 12 hours (hard). Coins are used to buy helpers that you can use in the regular levels. Final point about the game: though tutorials are very helpful for you to learn how to complete the levels, very little instruction is offered about the other elements of the game: Diplomas - you need a diploma to play a level. You are given 5 and each one refills every 20 minutes. If you successfully complete a level, you don't another diploma to play a subsequent level. Coins - these are used to buy helpers that can help you finish and earn higher grades on difficult levels. Helpers - there are 7 different types of helpers and you are given a chance to practice how each one works as you unlock them Choosing helpers & using coins to buy helpers - before you begin playing a level, you will see a screen where you can choose which helpers you would like. Once you begin playing, you can use the helper by tapping on its icon in the lower left corner of the screen. If it's empty, the icon will appear in black and white with a plus sign next to it. Tap it, and a screen will pop up allowing you to buy the helper. You can buy 1, 3, or 7 of the helpers. Overall, this is a fun & addictive math game that I highly recommend!
