Nicely Novelty, but WHY?!? Why do this? – LiveTunes - Concert FX Player Review

It's a cute novelty, but actually playing most of your music this way? Why would you ruin perfectly good music? The developers deserve some kudos for making a cute app, but the concept is appalling as a music player. I don't know about those reviewers who wrote that this makes your music sound great. All it does is distort the music. This app should have been named "Horrible Equalizer". If you really want to freshen up old tracks, buy better headphones/speakers and a DAC. At least they didn't simulate those obnoxious people who bought tickets just so they can sit next to you and talk through the entire show. That would have been too realistic for me.
