Works great – FoboBike Review

Very convenient way to monitor tire pressure on bikes/trikes. Installation was easy, pairing to my phone was a little more tedious but not a big deal. Fobo provides quick readings, only a slight delay after app is opened. Bottom line, Fobo provides piece of mind that tire pressures are where you want them before AND during every ride. Have not detected any pressure loss thru the sensor units. I have had to replace a battery after only 3 months use, but this is a very easy process (package came with 1 replacement battery per sensor. Downsides...1). Actual pressure readings are not precise. I use an extremely accurate pressure gauge when adding air. The Fobo sensors are 2-4lbs lower than actual, and vary from sensor to sensor. I just set the Fobo pressure parameters to account for this. 2). Not enough time in use at this point to determine how these work with rubber stems, and potential detrimental centrifugal force. Fobo gives no caution about this, I would suspect that metal stems would be preferable. Another manufacturer is a similar product strongly suggests metal stems. 3). Can pair these with only a single device at a time. Ex:, if you have an iPhone and iPad, you can't load the app in each and expect it to work with either one depending what you have with you at any point in time. If you pair Fobo sensors with your iPhone, that's it...period. Also, any changes in parameters, e.g. Pressure range, requires a complete repairing.
