What the plot? – Lifeline 2 Review

[SPOILER WARNING] Read under your own discretion. . . . So when I played the first Lifeline app with Taylor, I actually felt as though his life was meaningful and his goals to stop the Greens were heroic and thought provoking. When I played this game, I felt nothing for Arika and the plot was thrown at me without remorse. The concept was interesting at best and I loved the fact that magic was involved, I just didn't like the fact that whole story was holding your hand while you were involved in getting three items and fighting the bad guys, the Greens. THE GREENS. The greens was the idea for Taylors plot, not this one. It felt like they wanted to make it connect to the previous game when it just made me feel disappointed instead. The plot was mediocre, as I felt like the bad guys should not have been the aliens from the first game but a different thing altogether. I thought that this concept would be excellent if it was not in modern times but during some medieval fantasy era. Arika didn't make me feel sympathetic for her and her sarcastic attitude felt abnormal and was an extreme version of Taylor's personality. It wasn't the best but it was still slightly enjoyable in the least.
