Played on mute, already know kana – Hiragana Pixel Party Review

Not as entertaining as anticipated, promptly got nauseous from the scrolling background. The programmer's review is easier to understand after playing the game. There should be controls for speed adjustments and an option for static background. The novelty of cute pixelated images and the ability to encourage language learning practice are well-delivered in this app. Hopefully, the devs find opportunities to adapt or develop this further. As for now, the tapping mechanic is wholly unappealing when combined with the necessity of intense staring and timing jumps against a scrolling background- especially when the acceptable timing for jumps isn't as polished as it should be. Worth a download, if only to inspire the creator with increased download numbers or to see if it makes you more educated than nauseous.
