Huge maps, challenging gameplay, low cost! – Infinite Tanks Review

I'm a veteran of Iron Force and (Walking) War Robots, and I have to say this game is very impressive. Massive maps with beautifully detailed scenery. Destructible environments, random weather changes make for a more realistic experience. Learning curve is not short... learning to drive is the first challenge, but the biggest challenge is developing winning strategies that work with your particular playing style. The variety of tanks and component combinations is deep enough to let you build a tank that is custom matched to your preferences. Took me a while to feel competent and after two months I still have much to learn and improve on. The absence of in-app-purchases is refreshing. The tank upgrade system is a lottery/card based system that takes a bit of getting used to but works well and eliminates the pay-to-play factor that can be poisonous to games like this. This game gets a solid five stars from me. Needs to be marketed a bit better and would benefit greatly from having a greater number of active players... -Scoot CNTI
