Wouldn't import songs – Slow Down Music Player Review

I kept receiving an error message that the app couldn't play my songs because they weren't in my iTunes library. I followed the recommended steps to make SURE they were in the library, rebooted, waited a few days, and still the app couldn't find my songs. I sent an email for help but never received a reply. So I found a different app. (This is on an iPhone 7 with the most recent iOS)
