Well color me gold! – Dark Parables: Goldilocks and Fallen Star (Full) Review

Heads-up: Artifex Mundi just released Lost Grimoires; on sale for limited time at $2.99 with free trial! After finishing this game, bumping my review from 3.5 stars to 4 stars. Interesting mix of Goldilocks and King Midas story - it kept my interest and I thought Eipix did a decent job of keeping with the same look and feel of the Blue Tea original games (although puzzles are easier and thankfully they provide a transportable map which shows active areas, unlike Blue Tea). Collectible snowflakes in each scene (my only complaint is that some were hidden in extremely dark areas of the scene). Morphing parable tale icons to find in some (not all) of the scenes. No custom mode of play unfortunately (typical Eipix). Exiting to the strategy guide doesn't make you restart the game. No glitches and I didn't notice any rats/mice. Enjoy! Upcoming Games from Big Fish Games: Ominous Objects: Trail of Time (3.5 stars, Daily Magic, Dec '15) Midnight Calling: Jeronimo (4.1 stars, Elephant Games, Jun. '16) Secrets of the Dark: Flower of Shadow (2.9 stars, Orneon, July '14) Secret Order: Buried Kingdom (4.4 stars, Sunward Games, May '16) Hidden Expedition: Fountain of Youth (4.3 stars, Eipix, Jan. '16) Sea of Lies: Beneath the Surface (3.6 stars, Eipix, Feb. '16)
