Newest update no longer plays reminder sound – Reminders with Voice Reminder Review

After I updated to iOS 10, before updating this app, I had no problems. But with the newest app update, when I set an alarm and associate it with a sound, that particular sound no longer plays. It does play a single tone, but that is not enough to be used as an alarm to wake me up. Before the update, I really enjoyed using this app and thought it was better than other ones I've tried. It allows you to schedule pre-alerts, easily set reminders for multiple times per day / week, and the feature for "infinite post-reminders until you click into the app" is also very useful.
