Game flaw in second scene – Amaranthine Voyage: The Orb of Purity (Full) Review

Started great. Then in the HOP on the Field of Ruins scene, you can't actually find all the objects to solve the puzzle. The Guide is no help, and the hint button keeps pointing to an area where there's nothing to pick up, and nothing in your inventory goes there. So, 10 minutes in and I can't progress.
