An okay implementation of an old – Totemo Review

Presentation-wise, there's a lot to admire here. The graphics are gorgeous but not distracting, the music is appropriately ambient, and the controls are fine. It's not in any way a new concept (the online flash game Crossblock does the same thing but with better level design), but it's a perfectly fine addition to my morning commute library of puzzle games. Or rather, it would be if it didn't halt iTunes when it opened, regardless of whether sounds are turned off. I'm sorry, but unless your game as a REALLY good soundtrack (and so far Unify is the only thing that qualifies), I'd rather listen to my own music, thanks. Anyway, it's an adequate puzzle game, and it looks like it'll last me at least three or four train rides before I'm finished with the puzzles, but until the sound issue gets fixed I can't possibly rate this higher than three stars. With an unoriginal concept, it's the execution that matters, and that execution has a serious flaw. Here's hoping for an update, preferably by the end of the week when I've completed the game.
