Great premise but execution lacking – FishWise: A Better Fishing App Review

Don't get me wrong, I love this app, but there are some complaints I have. First off, it has a tendency to crash on me when I'm trying to fill out the information for posting a new log. Secondly, I can't seem to manage to put in new locations when I make said logs. Also the lack of an edit feature is fairly surprising and I strongly believe, since this is obviously based on the Facebook template, that they should build in a build your own profile type of feature so that you can share your favorite types of outdoors activities. The fact that neither one of those options exist is more than a little bit surprising. I strongly suggest they also include the option to select a custom catch/harvest since the saltwater fishing catch options are fairly limited. it would be helpful to be able to combine categories to instead of having to make multiple logs for the same trip if you're fishing salt and freshwater or hunting along with it. Maybe a "my equipment I have/use" feature would be interesting along with a personal bests list. Overall the application is quite enjoyable and it definitely serves it's purpose, but the way it's construction was executed makes me think this may not have been all that well thought out initially. Some more features would also definitely be an improvement because as it is it's generally pretty basic. I love it but the lack of options is commonly irritating and often a pain in the butt.
