Truly Terrible – Nike Run Club: Running Coach Review

I'm not sure how Nike managed to take a perfectly fine app with Nike+ and so thoroughly break it with this update, but they did. The app has crashed on every run I've done with it and intermittently freezes (and gets incorrect distances). The pause button is little more than decoration since it may respond to a button push 1 out of 10 times, and often when the app voice says the app is paused, it is not. If I'm fortunate enough to pause a run, the button to restart it doesn't work. None of this matters since the app can't make it through an entire run without crashing. It also seems to drain much more battery than normal. Great work Nike! I'm finding another running app... Update: new version and with iOS 10 with the exact same problems. Pause button is for show, app freezes on every run. It's clear Nike has no interest in fixing the app (which should make thinks interesting with the new Nike themed Apple Watch comes out). I've switched over to MapMyRun, which at least works.
