Major problems! – Microsoft Word Review

The latest update will not allow me to open the app. According to my App Store Updates, the app has updated, but the icon says "loading" and has for several hours. I have tried rebooting my iPad, and would have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but curiously, the option to do so has disappeared. As someone who uses Word on a daily basis for my job, this is more than a minor inconvenience. Before the latest update, all was well. Now? The app is useless.
