Updated and won't let me open now – Whisper - Share, Express, Meet Review

Updated the app a few weeks ago. Now it won't open at all. Keep getting a "null. Error authenticating." And "oh Nos! (Yes Nos!) we can't connect to the Internet. Please try again." Please advise as to how and rectify this
