Jeeeeez I wish I could use this – MinimaList: To Do List &Widget Review

I rly want to love this app, its a great concept. (Even though the simplicity of the interface and functionality is close to *too* minimal.) It could be great with the calendar sync option too... IF it didn't both read AND write when syncing to my calendar — removing the past and future appointments I needed to keep on my calendar, but had deleted from MinimaList to declutter my tasks. (it's easy to make this mistake with a quick swipe in the gesture-based UI.) After 5 minutes of swiping in the app/googling support to find the settings option (lol), apparently you can't turn this sync aspect off :/ IMO it should be a minimal, focus-oriented task app or with a sync features, a more full-fledged planner app — unfortunately, this is yet another productivity app that requires you to arrange your organization/ productivity strategies around its syncing quirks :( Lots of potential and honestly it'd be great if you can adjust easily, but its not for me. Notifications work great, and I'd love to see the timer/task list combo as a feature in robust planning apps.
