My marked places disappeared on the new map – CityMaps2Go Pro Offline Maps Review

I use this app for visual directions and love it for the real time pointer letting me know if I'm going in the correct direction. But since the update, my previously saved locations can no longer be seen on the main map. I can't find the way to make the saved locations appear on the map. What's the point of looking at where you are and where you're going when you can't no longer see the destination?
