Do I Take This Game To Be My Lawful Wedded Romance? "I Do"! – Dark Romance: Kingdom of Death HD - A Hidden Object Adventure (Full) Review

This genre falls within the category of mythical fiction that intertwines elements of myth, folklore, and fairytale, which are detailed throughout your quest as you meet various characters with stories to tell within imaginary lands filled with supernatural essences. You encounter distinct, legendary, and magical creatures that can communicate as humans do; and you heroically fight off villainous, mythical gods when you are thrust into predicaments where your endurance and strength are tested through spiritual and physical challenges. I love the interchangeable perspectives of the two "love-struck" main characters. The visuals are aesthetically appealing and ornamental in presentation. The color wheel is augmented with vibrant, blazing, and luminous shades that deliver an ebullient atmosphere. You can customize your settings; choices are standard. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The calibration, referring to the inventory, needs a sensitivity adjustment; it is tedious to acquire and place items at times. The integrated teleport map encompasses features, such as your journal and collectibles. It functions in a superior capacity; namely, fast transition, indicated tasks, labeled locations, and marked "extras." It's a shame that this game disregards the inclusion of a journal to expand one's insight into the story. The HOS consist of the traditional styles we have grown accustomed to; however, they are structured with a gratifying medley of various types. The puzzles are introduced in accordance with relative actions performed; some are inventive and clever in presentation and form. I love the one where you move around nautical objects to clear columns so the net can catch the fish. The cut-scenes are compelling and effective; however, their transitions are sluggish and clunky. Transition between scenes is intermittently slow, as well as upon accessing some interactive pop-ups. You have some collectibles, which are well-camouflaged. Overall, this is a well-rounded game with satisfying components and variety. I deducted a star due to the mechanical glitches as stated above.
