Exceeding equipment cost????? – KINGDOM HEARTS Uχ Dark Road Review

I love this game, I really do!! But I can't play anymore because of my Treasure Trove keyblade, the first set exceeds the equipment cost, I don't understand what that means? Even if I take the medal off of the keyblade it still exceeds.
