Doesn't Save In Dungeons! – Tower of Fortune 3 Review

This is a really great game. It is very fun and engaging, and is similar to the previous two, while being very different at the same time. There is so much more content and mechanics in this third entry that it almost feels like it should be its own separate game, rather than ToF3. My only complaint so far, and it is fairly serious, is that this game only seems to save when you go back to the main menu or into the tavern. I have lost a good hour and a half at least because I had almost fully explored the second level of the tower and ran across a random encounter that I wanted to look into before completing it. So I left my game open and tabbed over to the internet to look up some info about said encounter, after finding no info about my question and tabbing back into the game, I was very dismayed to see the game restart and put me back at the main menu before my last dungeon run that had taken the hour and a half. That is really aggravating to me that I not only lost the time, but I didn't run across the same encounters on my next run, one of which was very rare and handy. I still rate the game five stars, because it is very epic and impressive, and from a great company, I just wish I had known ahead of time how the save system worked. Thanks for reading, and have fun!
