Great to see this! – GunBird 2 Review

Big fan of Psikyo games and really fun to play them on mobile. The credits system is kinda wacky and not much like the arcade game this is derived from or the way consoles handle credits. It is used as a way to allow in-app purchases and limits your replays but is otherwise pretty generous. It isn't hard to earn in-game cash and the unlocks encourage better play. If one is unfamiliar with Psikyo shooters they are older arcade shooters low on complexity but rife with animation and details. In addition the Gunbird games like Sengoku have a lot of charm. Levels are short but there are a lot of them. Psikyo games almost always have the same bonus and powerup systems. Modern shmups could learn a lot about presentation and fun from his game. One suggestion to Mobrix: the pixels are really sharpened up on this game compared to your earlier releases like Strikers 1945-2 and -3. Please update those games to be as clear as Gunbird!
