Grim Tales: The Heir by LynxMinx – Grim Tales: The Heir - A Mystery Hidden Object Game (Full) Review

Another installment in the Gray saga, with more time traveling. It was an enjoyable game. Dracyy, that chinchilla was cute but when it jumped and screeched I thought it was a RAT and almost fainted! You could customize settings on this game. The graphics were dark, gloomy and dreary but still good, and the cut-scenes were exciting! No journal once again! Just notes so I couldn't explain the story if I tried! Objectives were updated at least. The inventory was labeled and interactive and had plus items to assemble. Loading was instantaneous between locations and there was a marked, if so customized, teleport map to transport you, and it was necessary because there's lots to do at each location. Also good for us lazy folks! The HO scenes were varied and not overly numerous. There were a lot of puzzles and games. Some were rotational junk but others were good and there was a super puzzle. Some were games of skill/dexterity. The hint system was of the non-spoiler type. The game was lengthy and had a bonus adventure. Lots of collectibles for those who like them; not me because they are a distraction to the game. The extras had a secret room, which I didn't really care much about either! I deducted a star only because there was no journal and I could have used one and also because the game shut down a couple of times. No fatal flaws though; the gameplay was actually quite smooth and inventory usage was not a problem. I look forward to the next installment. Lynxie sends ❤️?? to Dracyy, KimTwilight and the rest of the DTE!
