Fun – Cannon Siege Review

This isn't your classic tower defense game which the App store is flooded with. Bastion allows you the same sort of strategy that other games in the genre have, like building placements and weapon placement, but the thing that separates this one is that you take control of the firing of your weapons (cannons). Rather than your cannon firing off when an enemy is in range, you aim your cannons towards the incoming ships, giving you the feel of a shooter game as well as a defense game. This makes the game loads more fun IMHO than the standard defense game where all you do is sit and watch, rather than take part in the action. It isn't a matter of just tapping on a ship to fire at either, you have to lead your shots to hit the target as the ship moves at different speeds and direction. This adds limitless more depth to the gameplay... Overall an A +++ game different enough to warrant a purchase...
