It takes a screen shot of the weather for that very moment, which is placed over one of your pictures or a bland stock wallpaper, which is saved to your photos. You then simply go through normal procedure to change your background image to make that your permanent lock screen image... So if you haven't connected the dots you would have to do this every time you wanted to update your weather... This is SO basic, I feel that people download this thinking there's some special way to have LIVE updating on the lock screen (without jailbreaking your phone), and that a company wouldn't have the audacity to put out an App consisting of such a basic concept and ask money for it, it's not far from writing the weather for the next 3 days in Notes, taking a screen shot and making that your background. Yes, in the app you have little Sun, Rain & Cloud animations and you can lay it over a picture from your personal Photos. If that gets you excited, well, then maybe this app is for you, otherwise do not waste your time. Also paying for the "Pro Version", enables you to access weather for... (wait for it) "unlimited cities"... Really? that is a standard feature in every app I've come across involving weather. You get the point.
