It's No "Secret" That This Series Is "Legend"ary! – Haunted Legends: The Secret of Life - A Mystery Hidden Object Game (Full) Review

Hi Everyone! I just started playing the new game by Artifex Mundi entitled "Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily." It is currently on sale for a limited time at a discounted price of $2.99. It has a good story, task indicating teleport map, fun puzzles, diary, collectible, and other cool features. Smooth and glitch free so far. I submitted a review. Have fun playing! I am! UPDATE from July 1 review: I deducted an extra star due to lack of various locations to explore; it seemed as if there were no more than 20 locations. The game was very short even with the bonus. In addition, I disliked how I could not play the cat game in the extras because I did not collect them all. If we pay, we want to play. This game was not that good! Wow! I love the artwork in this series! The graphics are visually stunning; and they are embellished with finely detailed and intricately drawn scenes to create a realistic representation of the environment. I love the old European style villages with winding cobblestone paths and dimly lit storefronts leading up to a haunting cemetery filled with crumbling headstones and chilling statues staring coldly at you. The colors consist of rich, darker tones to portray an ominous mood. The background noises appropriately add elements of suspense with thunder resonating, flashes of lightening striking, and the chiming of church bells ringing out loud. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The teleport map indicates tasks in custom mode; however, it did not indicate immediate available actions. I was running around at times, which led to annoyance. The HOS consist of various types and are somewhat unique at times. The puzzles allow choice of difficulty; however, there are too many rotational types. There are some collectibles; you have to click everywhere to find them. There are lots of things to do in each location. I love how you can control the course of your journey at times. I took off a star because the puzzles could use more variety, the map could be more direct, and transition between scenes is slightly delayed.
