Multi-part SMS messages (Google voice) arrive out of order – Hangouts Review

Consider this scenario: you receive a text larger than 160 characters. If you do this typically on native sms, your carrier does a decent job of breaking apart the sms into several messages and delivering them in order. In Hangouts / Google voice though, multi-part SMS messages are delivered OUT OF ORDER. They appear almost like gibberish.
